Genesis 30:35
ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੱਬੇ ਜਾਂ ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵੀ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ।

| and all | וְאֵ֤ת | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| the she goats | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| speckled were that | הָֽעִזִּים֙ | hāʿizzîm | ha-ee-ZEEM |
| and spotted, | הַנְּקֻדּ֣וֹת | hannĕquddôt | ha-neh-KOO-dote |
| one every and | וְהַטְּלֻאֹ֔ת | wĕhaṭṭĕluʾōt | veh-ha-teh-loo-OTE |
| that | כֹּ֤ל | kōl | kole |
| had some white | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| all and it, in | לָבָן֙ | lābān | la-VAHN |
| the brown | בּ֔וֹ | bô | boh |
| sheep, the among | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| and gave | ח֖וּם | ḥûm | hoom |
