Genesis 3:3
ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖ਼ਾਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਰੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਰੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਓਂਗੇ।’”
