Genesis 29:8
ਪਰ ਉਸ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਖੂਹ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਖਿਸੱਕਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣਗੀਆਂ।”

| all | יֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ | yēʾāsĕpû | yay-ah-seh-FOO |
| the flocks | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| be gathered together, | הָ֣עֲדָרִ֔ים | hāʿădārîm | HA-uh-da-REEM |
| roll they till and | וְגָֽלֲלוּ֙ | wĕgālălû | veh-ɡa-luh-LOO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the stone | הָאֶ֔בֶן | hāʾeben | ha-EH-ven |
| from | מֵעַ֖ל | mēʿal | may-AL |
| well's the | פִּ֣י | pî | pee |
| mouth; | הַבְּאֵ֑ר | habbĕʾēr | ha-beh-ARE |
| then we water | וְהִשְׁקִ֖ינוּ | wĕhišqînû | veh-heesh-KEE-noo |
| the sheep. | הַצֹּֽאן׃ | haṣṣōn | ha-TSONE |
