Genesis 20:13
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਥਾਂ-ਥਾਂ ਭਟਕਾਇਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ; ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਈਏ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹੀ ਆਖੀਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਭੈਣ ਹੈਂ।’”

Hebrews 11:8
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਸੀ।
