Genesis 19:31
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ, ਵੱਡੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ।

| and there is not | וְאִ֨ישׁ | wĕʾîš | veh-EESH |
| man a | אֵ֤ין | ʾên | ane |
| in the earth | בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-RETS |
| in come to | לָב֣וֹא | lābôʾ | la-VOH |
| unto | עָלֵ֔ינוּ | ʿālênû | ah-LAY-noo |
| manner the after us | כְּדֶ֖רֶךְ | kĕderek | keh-DEH-rek |
| of all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the earth: | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
