Genesis 14:22
ਪਰ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ

| hand mine | יָדִ֤י | yādî | ya-DEE |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the Lord, | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| the most high | אֵ֣ל | ʾēl | ale |
| God, | עֶלְי֔וֹן | ʿelyôn | el-YONE |
| the possessor | קֹנֵ֖ה | qōnē | koh-NAY |
| of heaven | שָׁמַ֥יִם | šāmayim | sha-MA-yeem |
| and earth, | וָאָֽרֶץ׃ | wāʾāreṣ | va-AH-rets |
