Genesis 10:9
ਨਿਮਰੋਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਣਿਆ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਨਿਮਰੋਦ ਵਾਂਗ, ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੀ।”

Jeremiah 16:16
“ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਛੇਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ।” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ, “ਉਹ ਮਛੇਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਟਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਝੀਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

Micah 7:2
ਮੇਰੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਹਤਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਰ ਭਾਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ ’ਚ ਫ਼ਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
