Ezekiel 5:10
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਇੰਨੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮਾਪੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਚ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।”

| their fathers; | אֲבוֹתָ֑ם | ʾăbôtām | uh-voh-TAHM |
| execute will I and | וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי | wĕʿāśîtî | veh-ah-SEE-tee |
| judgments | בָךְ֙ | bok | voke |
| in thee, and | שְׁפָטִ֔ים | šĕpāṭîm | sheh-fa-TEEM |
| the whole | וְזֵרִיתִ֥י | wĕzērîtî | veh-zay-ree-TEE |
| remnant | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| of thee will I scatter | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
