Ezekiel 44:23
“ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਕ ਕੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਕੀ ਹੈ।

| profane, and | קֹ֖דֶשׁ | qōdeš | KOH-desh |
| and cause them to discern | לְחֹ֑ל | lĕḥōl | leh-HOLE |
| between | וּבֵין | ûbên | oo-VANE |
| the unclean | טָמֵ֥א | ṭāmēʾ | ta-MAY |
| and the clean. | לְטָה֖וֹר | lĕṭāhôr | leh-ta-HORE |
| יוֹדִעֻֽם׃ | yôdiʿum | yoh-dee-OOM |
