Ezekiel 4:14
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ (ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ) ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਹ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਮਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧਾ-ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੀਕ। ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿਆ।”

Isaiah 66:17

“ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
Exodus 22:31
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਨਾ ਖਾਓ ਜੋ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਤਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Leviticus 19:7
