Ezekiel 33:7
“ਹੁਣ, ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਁ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

| thee a watchman | נְתַתִּ֖יךָ | nĕtattîkā | neh-ta-TEE-ha |
| unto the house | לְבֵ֣ית | lĕbêt | leh-VATE |
| Israel; of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| therefore thou shalt hear | וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֤ | wĕšāmaʿtā | veh-sha-ma-TA |
| the word | מִפִּי֙ | mippiy | mee-PEE |
| mouth, my at | דָּבָ֔ר | dābār | da-VAHR |
| and warn | וְהִזְהַרְתָּ֥ | wĕhizhartā | veh-heez-hahr-TA |
| them from | אֹתָ֖ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
| me. | מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ | mimmennî | mee-MEH-nee |
