Ezekiel 22:5
ਦੂਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਣਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹਾਸਾ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੀੜ ਭੜਕੱੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੋਰੀਲਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ, ‘ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ?’ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ, ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “‘ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਨਗੇ।
