Ezekiel 22:30
“ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਉ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਰਾਖਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲਈ ਲੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਹੁੜਿਆ!

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੰਮੋ। ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚੋ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਨਤਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰੋ। ਦੇਖੋ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਲੱਭ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਲੱਭ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ!
Ezekiel 13:5
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸਾਰੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ!
Psalm 106:23
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ, ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਰੋਕ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।

Jeremiah 15:1
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਣ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜ ਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਦੇ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?
