ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਚਲਕੇ ਗਿਆ। ਬੱਦਲ ਨੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪੱਚੀ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਜਦੇ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਸਨ-ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਠਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ!

ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਉੱਠੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੀਕ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਰੁਕ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਹਿਲੀਜ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਤਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਕਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਯਹੋਰਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਇਆ।
