Exodus 33:15
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਾ ਭੇਜੋ।

“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲੋ। ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ।”
