Exodus 3:3
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਝਾੜੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਝਾੜੀ ਭਸਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਬਲਦੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

| sight, | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| why | מַדּ֖וּעַ | maddûaʿ | MA-doo-ah |
| the bush | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| is not | יִבְעַ֥ר | yibʿar | yeev-AR |
| burnt. | הַסְּנֶֽה׃ | hassĕne | ha-seh-NEH |
