Exodus 28:30
ਊਰੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਤੁੰਮੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਨੇ-ਬੰਦ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੱਖੀਂ। ਇਹ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇਗਾ।

ਲੇਵੀ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਸ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲੇਵੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖੀਆਂ, “ਲੇਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਰੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਤੁੰਮੀਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੱਸਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮਰੀਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ।
Numbers 27:21
ਜੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਊਰੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਜਾਣੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ, ‘ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ’, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ ‘ਘਰ ਜਾਉ’ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”
Leviticus 8:8

1 Samuel 30:7
ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਅਹੀਮਲਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਾ ਇੱਥੇ ਏਫ਼ੋਦ ਲੈ ਆ।”

ਮਸੀਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਉਸ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਸੱਚੇ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਨਕਲ ਹੈ। ਮਸੀਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ। ਮਸੀਹ ਹੁਣ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
Hebrews 9:12
ਮਸੀਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਵਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸੀ। ਮਸੀਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਵਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਦਾਖਿਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਵਹਿੜਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮਸੀਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਵਾਰ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਮਰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਿਆਇਆ।
Hebrews 4:15
ਯਿਸੂ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਇਆ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਨਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਖਸ਼ ਸੱਕੇ।
Philippians 1:7

Judges 20:18

Judges 20:27
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਬੈਤੇਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੀ।

Zechariah 6:13

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲੜਨਗੇ?”
