Exodus 12:38
ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸਨ-ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖ ਬੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫ਼ੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਂਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਚੱਲ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ?’”
