ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੰਘੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਗਾਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦੇਖ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੰਘੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਗਾਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦੇਖ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
