Proverbs 14:28
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

Titus 3:3

James 4:5
ਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੋਥੀ ਅਰਥਹੀਣ ਹੈ? ਪੋਥੀ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ, “ਉਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
Job 5:2
ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇੱਕ ਖੁਦਗਰਜ਼ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਮਨੋਭਾਵ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
