ਰਾਣੀ ਵਸ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਦੂਲੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਹਿਂਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੂਸ਼ ਤੀਕ, 127 ਪ੍ਰਾਂਤਾ ਉੁਤ੍ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

Daniel 9:1
ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਁ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ।ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਮੀਡੀਅਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਾਰਦਕਈ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਦੇ 127 ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖੇ। ਮਾਰਦਕਈ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਆਪਸੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਸੀ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦਾ ਪੈਗਾਮ ਬਣੇ।

ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 120 ਉਪਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਨਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
