Ecclesiastes 8:16
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਚਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਰੁਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸੌਁਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਾਂ ਭਰਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਰੁਕਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, “ਕਿਸ ਖਾਤਰ ਮੈਂ ਇੰਨੀ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮਂਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ?” ਇਹ ਵੀ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਦ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।
Ecclesiastes 5:12
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਘਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੌਁਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਿਨਾ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਾਂ ਥੋੜਾ। ਪਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਧੰਨ ਦਾ ਫਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੌਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ।
