Deuteronomy 5:22
ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਸਨ “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੁਕਿਆਂ ਅੱਗ, ਬੱਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਕੇ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
