Deuteronomy 29:22
“ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

| up rise shall | אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| after | יָק֙וּמוּ֙ | yāqûmû | ya-KOO-MOO |
| stranger the and you, | מֵאַ֣חֲרֵיכֶ֔ם | mēʾaḥărêkem | may-AH-huh-ray-HEM |
| that | וְהַ֨נָּכְרִ֔י | wĕhannokrî | veh-HA-noke-REE |
| shall come | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| far a from | יָבֹ֖א | yābōʾ | ya-VOH |
| land, | מֵאֶ֣רֶץ | mēʾereṣ | may-EH-rets |
| shall say, | רְחוֹקָ֑ה | rĕḥôqâ | reh-hoh-KA |
| see they when | וְ֠רָאוּ | wĕrāʾû | VEH-ra-oo |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the plagues | מַכּ֞וֹת | makkôt | MA-kote |
| that of | הָאָ֤רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| land, | הַהִוא֙ | hahiw | ha-heev |
| and the sicknesses | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| which | תַּ֣חֲלֻאֶ֔יהָ | taḥăluʾêhā | TA-huh-loo-A-ha |
| Lord the | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| hath laid | חִלָּ֥ה | ḥillâ | hee-LA |
| upon it; | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
