Deuteronomy 28:30
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਕਾਨ ਬਨਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾ ਦਾ ਬਾਗ ਲਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Jeremiah 8:10
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ-ਹੋਰ ਪੈਸਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ। ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੀਕ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ, ਨਬੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਤੀਕ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਨੇ।
Job 31:10
ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਮਰਦ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦਿਉ, ਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੌਣ ਦਿਉ।

Micah 6:15

Deuteronomy 20:6
ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਗ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੀਕ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨਾ ਲਾਈ ਹੋਵੇ? ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣੇਗਾ।
Hosea 4:2

Isaiah 5:9
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਇੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਕਾਨ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਹੁਣ ਇੱਥੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਮਕਾਨ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
Job 3:18
ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਾਮ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਾਰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੀਕਦਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ।
