Deuteronomy 27:15
“‘ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਝੂਠਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਰਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ!’ “ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਆਮੀਨ!’

| an abomination | תּֽוֹעֲבַ֣ת | tôʿăbat | toh-uh-VAHT |
| unto the Lord, | יְהוָ֗ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| the work | מַֽעֲשֵׂ֛ה | maʿăśē | ma-uh-SAY |
| hands the of | יְדֵ֥י | yĕdê | yeh-DAY |
| of the craftsman, | חָרָ֖שׁ | ḥārāš | ha-RAHSH |
| putteth and | וְשָׂ֣ם | wĕśām | veh-SAHM |
| it in a secret | בַּסָּ֑תֶר | bassāter | ba-SA-ter |
| all And place. | וְעָנ֧וּ | wĕʿānû | veh-ah-NOO |
| the people | כָל | kāl | hahl |
| shall answer | הָעָ֛ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| and say, | וְאָֽמְר֖וּ | wĕʾāmĕrû | veh-ah-meh-ROO |
| Amen. | אָמֵֽן׃ | ʾāmēn | ah-MANE |
