Deuteronomy 26:13
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।

| and also | וְגַ֨ם | wĕgam | veh-ɡAHM |
| given have | נְתַתִּ֤יו | nĕtattîw | neh-ta-TEEOO |
| them unto the Levite, | לַלֵּוִי֙ | lallēwiy | la-lay-VEE |
| stranger, the unto and | וְלַגֵּר֙ | wĕlaggēr | veh-la-ɡARE |
| to the fatherless, | לַיָּת֣וֹם | layyātôm | la-ya-TOME |
| widow, the to and | וְלָֽאַלְמָנָ֔ה | wĕlāʾalmānâ | veh-la-al-ma-NA |
| according to all | כְּכָל | kĕkāl | keh-HAHL |
| thy commandments | מִצְוָֽתְךָ֖ | miṣwātĕkā | meets-va-teh-HA |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| commanded hast thou | צִוִּיתָ֑נִי | ṣiwwîtānî | tsee-wee-TA-nee |
