Deuteronomy 21:8
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਕਰ। ਤੂੰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰਾ।’ ਇਉਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਲਈ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

Ezekiel 23:24

Ezekiel 23:3

Psalm 19:12
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਲਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਵੇਂ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇਵੋ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਸਭ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਲਥਪਥ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
2 Samuel 3:28
ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਲਈ ਰੋਣਾ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਖਬਰ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ, ਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ
Numbers 35:33
“ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਿਉ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਜੁਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਵਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੁਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ।
