Deuteronomy 11:23
ਫ਼ੇਰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਨ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧੇ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੇਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Deuteronomy 9:1
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਸੁਣੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੂੰਹਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ!
Exodus 23:27
“ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ, ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਗਿਰਗਾਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ, ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ, ਪਰਿੱਜ਼ੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਨ।
Deuteronomy 7:22
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੋਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹਚਾਉਣਗੇ।
Deuteronomy 9:5
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਧੱਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ-ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
