Deuteronomy 10:22
ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 70 ਬੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ-ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ।

Deuteronomy 28:62
ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਇੰਨੇ ਹੋਣ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਰੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਬਚਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Numbers 26:62
ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ, ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 23,000 ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।
Numbers 26:51
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 6,01,730 ਸੀ।
Hebrews 11:12
ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਬਿਰਧ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰਨ ਕੰਢੇ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਏ, ਜਿੰਨੇ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਤਾਰੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਕਣ ਹਨ।
