ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਭਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
Revelation 13:8
ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਰੰਭ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਲੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਗਏ। ਲੇਲਾ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
Revelation 13:14
ਇਹ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
Revelation 17:8
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੁਣ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਥਲਹੀਣ ਖੱਡ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਗਏ।
Revelation 19:20
ਪਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠਾ ਨਬੀ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਝੂਠਾ ਨਬੀ ਉਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਲਈ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਝੂਠਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਧਕ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
