Daniel 2:16
ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਨੇ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੁਣੀ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਕੋਲ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਰਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸੋਁਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਣੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ!”
