Amos 1:9
ਫ਼ੀਨੀਸ਼ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਉਂ ਫ਼ੁਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਮੈਂ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਦੰਡਿਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੌਲ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ।

1 Kings 9:11
ਅਤੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੀਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਨਗਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੀਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ, ਚੀਲ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਲੋੜੀਦਾ ਸੀ, ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
Zechariah 9:2

Ezekiel 26:1
ਸੂਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਉਦਾਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ ਜਲਾਵਤਨੀ ਦੇ 11ਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਆਰ, ਸਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਗਮ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭੇਜੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ’ਚ ਉਸਤਾਦ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

Matthew 11:21

ਅਦੋਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ: “ਮੈਂ ਅਦੋਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਦੋਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦਾ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਰਹਿਮ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਦੋਮ ਦਾ ਕਰੋਧ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਰਿਹਾ।
Amos 1:6
ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਉੱਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਦੋਮ ’ਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ।
Jeremiah 47:4
ਸਾਰੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਦਾ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਹਾਇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਫ਼ਤੋਂਰ ਟਾਪੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
