ਪਰ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ, ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਦੂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਹਾਂਪੁਰੱਖ ਹਾਂ।
