ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਜ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਾਂ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬੜੀ ਦੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਾ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ। ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈ।”
