ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਦੋਂ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਨਬੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਇਆ।
