ਪਰ ਰੂਥ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਉਣ ਦੇ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਵੇਂਗੀ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਰਹੇਂਗੀ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਾਂਗੀ। ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
