Jeremiah 49:27
“ਮੈਂ ਦਂਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦਿਖਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਅੱਗ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਦੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”

ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਹਾਬ ਦਾ ਜੰਗ ਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ 32 ਰਾਜੇ ਉਸ ਸੰਗ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਥ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੇ।

ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਮੁੜ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।
Jeremiah 43:12
ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਬਾਲੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਜੜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਮ ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਪੇਟਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਪੇਟੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
