Jeremiah 48:17
ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਰੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੋਆਬ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਰੋਵੋ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸੋਗੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ: ਹਾਕਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Zechariah 11:10

ਟੁੱਟ ਭੱਜ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੋਆਬ। ਉਸ ਲਈ ਰੋਵੋ। ਆਤਮ-ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਮੋਆਬ ਨੇ। ਹੁਣ ਮੋਆਬ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ-ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Jeremiah 48:31
ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਰੋਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਵਾਸੀ ਲਈ ਰੋਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਕੀਰ-ਹਰਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Isaiah 16:8
