Jeremiah 44:28
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੋੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਚ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਕੁਝ ਇੱਕ ਲੋਕ ਬਚਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਸੱਕਣ।”

Isaiah 27:12

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬੂਤ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ-ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ-‘ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੱਕੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੇ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਾਂਗੇ।

Isaiah 10:22
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤਣ ਲਈ ਬਚੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੇਕੀ ਦਾ ਅਗਮਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਨਦੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ!
