Jeremiah 37:9
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਓ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਆਖੋ, “ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਇੱਕਲਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।” ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੇਗੀ।

Jeremiah 29:8

James 1:22
ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੁਣੋ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਵੀ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬੈਠੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ।
