Hosea 7:9
ਅਜਨਬੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਲੁਟ ਲਿਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਧੌਲੇ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।

ਪਰ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਜਵਾਨ ਆਦਮੀ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੈਦਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਡਕੱ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਖੋਹ ਲੇ ਨੇ। ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਖੋਹਿਆ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰੋ!”
Isaiah 57:1
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ। ਸਭ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲੈ ਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
