Ezekiel 47:5
ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਪਿਆ। ਪਰ ਓੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਹ ਦਰਿਆ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਾਣੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਇੰਨਾ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਦਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

ਤਦ ਹਰ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਖਬਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਖਬਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਫ਼ੈਲੇਗੀ।

ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਅਜਗਰ, ਉਸ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ। ਅਜਗਰ ਉਹੀ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਤਾਨ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
