ਜਵਾਬ ਇਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ: ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਇੱਕਰਾਨਾਮਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੱਲਣਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ।
