Acts 7:16

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਹਮੋਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ 100 ਸਿੱਕਿਆਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੀ।

ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਿਕ ਤੋਂਲਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਲਈ ਦਸ ਪੌਂਡ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਤੋਂਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਘਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਈਆਂ। (ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇ, ਮੇਰੀ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਣੀਆਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ।”)
Genesis 33:9
ਪਰ ਏਸਾਓ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਭਰਾਵਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ।”

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
Genesis 50:13
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਕਫ਼ੇਲਾਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮਮਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰਸਤਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਸੀ।
