ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਾਹੀ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾ ਲਵੋ। ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੁਣ ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਫ਼ਾਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦਾ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੋਟਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਕੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਲੈ ਲਵੋ।”

Isaiah 17:5
“ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਫ਼ਾਈਮ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਢੀਆਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕਾਮੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੂਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਕਣਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਕੱਟ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਨਾਜ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
