ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੈ?” ਸੀਬਾ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਤਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਅੱਜ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਣਗੇ।”

Psalm 15:3
ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ। ਉਹ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇਸ਼ਰਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦਾ।
2 Samuel 19:24
ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਗਿਆ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੀਕ ਜਦ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਤੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਹੜੀ ਸੁਆਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਧੁਆਏ ਸਨ।
Deuteronomy 19:18
ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਗਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ,
Exodus 20:16
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਝੂਠੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
