ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਨਾਢ ਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਕਰੋਧ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ, ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੋ ਵੱਢਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ।
