ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਬੜਾ ਕਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ) ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਕੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਲਗਾ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ।” ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾ ਨਾ ਸੱਕੇਂਗਾ।”
