ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ।” ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੇਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਸੌਹਰਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ। ਉਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਜਵਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਠਹਿਰ ਜਾਓ। ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣੋ। ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਰੁਕ ਕੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਨਅਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ 68 ਕਿੱਲੋ ਲੈ।” ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਜ਼ਿਦ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਥੈਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 68 ਕਿੱਲੋ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਜੋੜੇ ਬਸਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਲੱਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ।
Job 6:28
ਪਰ ਹੁਣ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕੋ। ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ ।
